Anti-Bullying Advocate & Actress Cassandra Perkins Becomes BYOU Spokes Model!
BYOU “Be Your Own You” has just signed Cassandra Perkins as an official spokes model to empower and educate girls on the dangers of bullying. This 14-year-old actress, Internet TV talk show host, co-author, and stunt girl has been a victim of bullying herself, and her passion is to bring awareness to young girls of this harmful epidemic and help them achieve stronger self-esteem for a better quality of life. She currently is starring in the upcoming not-yet-released anti-bullying movie, Bully Girls, and is a Certified Internet Child Safety Advocate.
See Cassandra on stage along with BYOU CEO Debra Gano on Saturday, November 12, from 1-3 PM , as they deliver a powerful self-esteem/anti-bullying program at the Evolve Expo at the Denver Merchandise Mart (I-25 & 58th St). Tickets are $5 for Kids/$10 Adults and can be purchased at the door.
Cassandra began her acting career on the theatrical stage when she was 5, and by the age of 10, had blossomed into a fine young actor with several film credits to her name, as well as a Heartland Regional Emmy nomination. Cassandra is a member of the Asgard Stunt team, where she performs film-related fight choreography, weapon technique, and high/low falls. She works closely with several non-profit organizations that coordinate community youth outreach, suicide prevention, and cyber safety awareness, and has co-authored a book titled “Lift As You Climb,” a collection of warm-hearted and insightful stories, inspirational poems, and positive thoughts.
Cassandra feels strongly about making a global difference in the world and has her own Internet TV talk show called ‘Global Voices Reaching Out’ with an impressive list of guests of best-selling authors, politicians, artists, and many others who are powerful influences today. Her goal is to inspire, lift, motivate, and provide tools for change and growth to make a positive impact that will empower others to live a purpose-driven life.

In the time I’ve got know Cassandra Perkins, I have fallen in love with who she is. This Young Lady has a heart of GOLD and is an inspiration and a positive influence to everyone she comes into contact with. Her whole life revolves around doing nothing but good deeds. When I look in on her to see what she’s up too, it’s always something for someone else… Think about for a minute… All she does is give and give and give and then she gives some more. INCREBIBLE! Cassi (as her friends call her) is a role model for every one of us, young and old. I don’t know where Cassi’s destiny and future will take her, but I do know that it will be inspirational and that it will be doing something to make the world a better place. I have 3 words to describe Cassandra Perkins…AWESOME HUMAN BEING!!!
