Spring Break is coming up and for many tweens it means a much needed rest from homework, studying and any other stress that comes from school. Not sure what you should do for this highly anticipated vacation? Here are some suggestions that will be sure to make your spring break a memorable one.
Find organizations in your area that are looking for volunteers. Find a cause that you’re passionate about and try to find a way to help. Whether it’s volunteering at a local food pantry or animal shelter, the experience will be rewarding and make for a fun Spring Break.
2. Hang out with your gal pals
Go to a local amusement park, bowling, a movie, or shopping at the mall. Plan a slumber party or back yard camp out. Make up for all of the times you and your friends couldn’t hang out because you had to study, do homework or finish a research paper.
3. Earn Money
Babysit for a family member or family friend. Help out around the house or maybe do yard work for your parents. It’ll feel good knowing that you helped your parents and you can have extra spending money which will add to your spring break fun.
4. Have fun with family
Spend as much time with your family as you can. Go to the beach. Go on a morning hike. Plan a fun family movie night; Pop popcorn and put out a platter of snacks. That will give your parents a chance to step away from the stresses of work and enjoy spring break too.
We all know how stressful school can be, so for some spring is a time to be able to catch up on some much needed sleep and relaxation.
Whatever you do for your spring break make sure you be safe, have fun and just be you!
